welcome to the blog, on Saturday February 27th we left Costa Rica and made our way to Guatemala. We stopped at a base in Antigua for a night before separating to all of our different host homes. in Antigua Guatemala we were real close to the volcanos, at night you could see the red lava coming down the mountain and dur the day you could see it erupt but more so saw a lot of smoke, it was so amaxing to see from the roof of the base. The next day we all took off to our different ministries, my team is staying with YWAM for a month doing street evangelism, we are then heading seven hours away to an indigenous village to minister, your prayers are much appreciated. last Tuesday I was able to talk with one of the notorious gang leaders here in Guatemala, I am hoping to be able to talk with him again and to build some trust with him so I can share more. We have been able to share and play with kids in the streets and also had a group of at risk girls come to the base and we had an event with them, teaching them there worth and purpose, the language barrier makes it hard but God is still moving.
